Rated 4.5 out of 5.  Chanel No 5 was created by Chanel in 1921.  No 5 has top notes of aldehydes, bergamont, lemon, and neroli, a heart of jasmine, lily of the valley, rose, and orris, and a base of vetiver, sandalwood, vanilla and amber.  Chanel No 5 is ladylike. but personal and can be worn just about everywhere, any time of the day and night.

Rated 4.5 out of 5.  Bulgari – The opening is citrusy, but soft and quiet, with touches of fruity sweetness and a hint of bitter green.  Crafted by Bvlgari in 1994, it is recommended  for evening wear.

Bvlgari is not quite what I’d call sexy, but it has a little edge of something earthy and dark in the base that elevates it above the plain old pretty feminine romantic scents.  It is sophisticated without being in the least aloof, and it’s just plain nice.  This is definitely a Top 10 for women’s fragrance.

Rated 4.5 out of 5.  Armani Code contains notes of blood orange, ginger pear sorbet, sambac jasime, orange blossom, seringa flower, lavender honey, precious woods and vanilla.  It’s sweet, but not sickeningly so, and the jasmine is the most prevalent note.  There is a bit of a musky undertone to it also.  Very feminine and elegant, it is almost powdery, but in a nice way and not overpowering.

Rated 4.5 out of 5.  Designed by Christian Dior in 1956, Diorissimo is described to be a refreshing, flowery fragance, romantic, tender and care free.    This feminine scent possesses a blend of jasmine, lily of the valley, and ylang-ylang, yet fresh and uncomplicated, recommended for daytime wear.   Timeless classic.
